Mid Healing Process of Lip Blushing
If you are familiar with tattoos, this part of the healing process is probably not alarming to you!
Much like regular tattoos, cosmetic tattoos also still go through a healing phase where they shed layers of color (the lips will lose 70% of the pigment, and brows/eyeliner will lose about 40-50%).
If you are not familiar with the tattoo healing process, you might be fairly concerned right now if your freshly tattooed area is looking like this photo!
THIS IS NORMAL!!! Your treated area will be going through some major changes over the next 14-23 days. The color will appear darker, lighter, barely there, uneven, and shedding skin until it finally stops and looks more like the beautiful design that you and your technician started out with!
Follow all healing instruction from your technician, DO NOT pick the skin - this can cause scarring. Let it slough off on its own.
And do not attempt to touch up the work until your entire healing cycle is completed.
